Majora's Mask Skull Kid FINISHED p.2
Hi everyone! I stumbled across this forum while browsing patterns, and got super excited to finally have someone to share my cross stitching with, since I don't know anyone IRL who stitches! I've been working on Skull Kid here for about a month now and I love how it's turning out so far! Majora's Mask is probably my favorite Zelda game. I'm using this pattern by PixelComfort.

Re: Majora's Mask Skull Kid WIP
I made a ton of progress this week! I was sick so I pretty much hung out and stitched all day over the weekend. I accidentally got some ink transfer from marker on my hands onto the top of the cloth, even after I had washed my hands a couple times to make sure it wouldn't rub off. I had to wash the top bit of my grid off, but I've finished that part anyways. At least now I know the new marker I used will definitely wash away even after a month or two!

Sorry to hear that you've been sick! I end up usually doing some stitching when I'm sick, too
More great progress! And yay for the marker washing off!

It looks great! This pattern looks a lot like one from here. If I find it, I'll share it.

Re: Majora's Mask Skull Kid WIP
Thanks guys! This is the first time I'm making something that didn't come in a kit with pre-cut thread and aida, and also my first time gridding ahead of time, so I'm pretty pleased with myself! The grid seriously makes everything sooooo much easier.

Looks wonderful! The next time I do a cross stitch that has a lot of counting (no the Mario map doesn't count as counting :b ) I am definitely going to give gridding a try! I'd never before heard of it until I started visiting this forum but it looks as though it would save me a lot of hair pulling!

Oh my gosh, gridding is an absolute life saver, I don't think I'll ever be able to do a large project without it again! I went back to working on a non gridded project for a couple days and it's so much more difficult.

Re: Majora's Mask Skull Kid WIP
I was on vacation then feeling lazy, so I haven't posted a picture in a while. But I've been hard at work! I have another project I reeeally want to start, but I've been trying to finish this one since I'm horrible at restarting things once I stop.
