I did about 20 inches of the same colour. Just stitch after stitch...
Thank god for netflix is all I can say :D

My husband took over a project and he's not sure he's willing to part with it now, so I started a new one of that, too - really easy project, should be done tonight. Last project I need my sewing machine for, so I have to work on it after all 3 kids go to bed otherwise I have waaaaay too much help. I was sewing along when the youngest little boy snuck up on me and jammed the pedal down full throttle. Different day the oldest boy decided to take my pins out of the cushion and throw them on the floor one by one while I was in the middle of a seam. Middle boy likes to sit on my lap and commentate for me and demand more sewing. lol
Your family sounds adorable. Especially your husband wanting to keep one of the things, heh :)

That was my reaction.

Just a word of warning. They are addictive, you can't just have one jelly baby. Before you know it, the packet is empty.
The gremlins must pinch them :)

I also received my Jelly Babies from Lord Libidan!! Thank you!! As soon as I have a chance, I will post pictures. Apparently "but I got a box of really cool stuff" isn't a good excuse to not be working when work things are on metaphorical fire  I'm also not posting on here right now :secret

Lord Libidan was my wonderful mini-swap buddy. I have some amazing gifts and finally had time to fully play with them (I say "finally" - it was about 24 hours of torture before I could properly go through the box)

Here is everything. I'm also excited to try Jelly Babies and hadn't heard of them before.

One of the items was a paper Galaga cabinet. It took a bit more of my brain power than I'm going to admit to assemble it, but it was a great afternoon break from work.

The center is a cross stitched Galaga ship, and your stitching is beautiful.

The cabinet came in a few segments and needed to be assembled, including gluing the sides, so my Dalek helped hold it down while it dried.

Continued...

Me when I got to this one "ooohhh, I wonder if that's sugar... it looks like edible sugar... I should try it........ I should read the letter first before I eat it"

Turns out, it's not food... it is a 3D printed ship. And I smelled it and it doesn't smell edible :D The little ring came off in transit but I actually like it as just the ship, so I think I'm going to leave it as is. Otherwise, it'll be easy to glue, so no big deal.

I am super excited about everything, but I did squee at the Kinder Egg. I am so looking forward to choking on the toy! Errrr, eating the chocolate.

Lastly, there was a cross stitch of the different baddies from Galaga. Again, I'm blown away by LL's stitching. I don't know what specifically it is, but something about it, it's so pretty. And I love the grey and the ship being in red.
