I am new onto the forum as a member although as you can tell I have been working on this pattern a good while now. This is my progress so far. Beginning to feel like I am getting close, then I forget I have the darkworld to do as well (which I have done the central temple/castle of but not a lot else). Sorry about the image quality using a different camera to what I normally do.

It is a bit isn't it! I have been stitching now for over 10 years now so doesn't seem to big any more. I feel I work so chaotically compared to other people. I tend to stitch in sets of colour so I work through all 6 strands on a length of thread before moving onto the next colour, and I like to do some outline work and fill in the middle bits. I also have a large multitude of different projects on the go at once that I rotate around depending on the mood I am in, and how complex a pattern I want to work on.

moosette wrote:julie !! yours looks amazing too!!!!! i never thought of doing it on a blue canvas it looks stunning !! please check mine out its here : viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15460

i'm only doing a light world one :)
I like working on coloured backgrounds, my dark world is on green (excuse the slight out of focus stitches). I have changed one of the greens on this as the colour wasn't quite different enough.

looking amazing!!!!!!! good luck with clouds ! i found due to the super light colour my clouds are the hardest on my eyes!

i have actually never worked on coloured canvas...except of the plastic variety. i think the blue and green really set your pieces apart from the rest of ours.

i did a lot of work after this pic was taken yesterday but it still gives ya an idea of mine :)

I got Servotron's pattern off of this forum off this thread:
http://spritestitch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=272

I used a PDF which is a few pages in I think. The one made up of black and white symbols rather than coloured ones. I also got the dark world pattern off of this forum which I think is also by the same user??? But I can't find the thread that I found it on at the moment.

I use the same pattern, but made my own prints from KG-chart so the pages are 40x70 stitches.

Moosete, I love your enormous project! How big is this pattern (not that I'm concidering, I'm not crazy :tease: ) in stitches? Looks really nice!

JulieK and moosette, here's the link to the Dark world pattern and post: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=308&start=0

I bookmarked it because it'll be my next project in like, ya know, a year or two, after the light world :D Although working on them simultaneously sounds like a fun idea JulieK!
