This is awesome - and I mean that literally, I am filled with awe.

Looking forward to seeing it progress.

I'm continually in awe of this project. Every update, no matter how small, seems like a monumental, powerful thing. This is hands down my favorite WIP on Sprite Stitch right now and probably in the history of the site.

In particular regarding this update, Link's panel in the background is so well-structured that I sat staring for at least four solid minutes, tracing every contour with my eyes. This piece really shows off how every stitch in freehand embroidery represents a conscious decision, and every one of those decisions here is absolutely the right one.

20/10, would drool again.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

Gawd, it looks machine stitched! And I agree with Kareesh - I also suspected silk thread! Though I have noticed that some of my cottons have more sheen than others lately (hello new colors, I'm talking about you)

Here is the progress I made in August. One thing I have learned is that I HATE embroidering circles, it is extremely hard to keep them circle-y. I was hoping to have more to show but this month involved a lot of ripping out of circles that did not want to conform! :tri :Link

Hopefully I will have more time to work on it soon, but for right now it is being put away so I can start to focus on Xmas presents.
