I would suggest that you roll the bars so that the right side of your stitching is protected underneath.

I think I understand what you're saying, but I can't do anything for the sides. I can only roll what's up and down, not the sides !

I believe blackberrybear meant that where your fabric rolls over the bars at the top and bottom, it might be a good idea to roll it the opposite way to how you have it in the photo above, so that the back of your fabric is on the outside of the rolled part. That way, your completed stitches will be inside and protected.
This project is looking great, by the way - I haven't seen the show, but I don't think I need to in order to appreciate this piece

Ah okay !
Well, I have more stitches protected this way ! And there's another problem... If I had to hold the frame in a vertical manner, I wouldn't be able to stitch at all. It's 70 cm long ! It would hide my whole computer screen or I'd be one meter away from the table. Moreover, I wouldn't be able to reach the top of the frame to stitch what's there. I'll be extra careful with the sides so I can go on stitching my way haha !

I think Blackberrybear meant 'right side' as in 'right side vs wrong side', not 'right side vs. left side'.

This is what I meant. Sorry I wasn't clear.no_need wrote:I believe blackberrybear meant that where your fabric rolls over the bars at the top and bottom, it might be a good idea to roll it the opposite way to how you have it in the photo above, so that the back of your fabric is on the outside of the rolled part. Ooookaaaay now I get it
Well, the amount of stitches that could be damaged is nearly non-existent (also I'm lazy as hell) but for all my other future projects I'll remember that ! Thank you !

Hehe !
Well, like the TV show, I will now be on hiatus. I've decided to try life without cross stitch to discover new hobbies, as I spend A LOT of time cross stitching. Way too much time, in my opinion. But don't worry ! I did this because I only have a few months of school before my long internship. I just left my cross stitch at my parents' home, to which I'll go back in a few months. So during this time, I will certainly cry a lot and buy fabric to start something else haha !
I can't help stitching... But I'd like to do something tiny. I still have to know what !
