A Link to the Past Maps Pillow
It took me about 2+ years, but I have finally completed both of the maps from A Link to the Past, and today I was able to turn them into a little pillow. It was my first time really using a sewing machine, which was both fun and terrifying. I also decided to use minimal stuffing as I wanted the maps to be mostly flat, and then curved along the edges near the clouds. Overall it looks great as a decorative pillow. Thanks again Servotron for making these awesome patterns! Now that they're complete I really don't know what to make next.

They look great!
Good job that must have taken a lot of dedication.

I've been trying so hard to talk myself out of putting these on my stitch list for quite some time now. But now that I see yours finished I think I'm going to have to add them. These look truly exceptional, and I love the pillow idea.

They sure took a long time. It's still very odd knowing they are done and my scroll frame is empty. But I bet I'll be able to find another large project on this site to make me feel better.CitrusOda wrote:They look great!![]()

It's actually one pillow with the light world on one side and the dark world on the other. I was really worried about sewing the aida together as I wasn't sure if it would stretch of tear, but it seems to be much sturdier than I thought.lucybaddog wrote:Wow great job on the pillows - they look fantastic.

Re: A Link to the Past Maps Pillow
Did you sew them together just like normal fabric on a sewing machine? I need to add some more aida to a project of mine (didn't measure first....oops) but I'm unsure as to how to do it.lpgeorge123 wrote:It's actually one pillow with the light world on one side and the dark world on the other.
