Last night I finally learned how to make french knots after ten years. XD

I can conclude that standard cross-stitch kits give terrible instructions for these things. Damn.

French knots are not my friend either. Sometimes I for go them altogether & just add black seed beads instead

I used to tie knots in the thread two or three times then run it back through the hole so it did look like a knot. Fail.

I would attempt a french knot...then find out it isnt pulled right...so it wilts down to a tiny knot...so then i pull that through the fabric and secure it....no one has said they've noticed....yet... lol

I found my first ever cross-stitch...

I think I was 8 or 9 when I did this.
It looks to be about 11 count.
