Non-VG Cross-stitch by riotpatch.

Post by riotpatch »

I thought I would upload some of my older projects while I am currently working on my first video game cross stitch.

Eeyore and Butterfly
My first completed project that wasn't a learning kit.

Eeyore and Bees

Pooh and Piglet

Oh Bother
Here I covered up a back-stitching error with white thread. Lazy. >_>
Image

Snowmen
Creepily missing eyes because I could never get the hang of french knots. I will have to give it another go.

Butterfly Scroll
This is the most recent I've finished by far (about three years ago while the above are closer to 8 or 10).
I am working on a partner for this one and only have back-stitching left.

I completely empathize I've been trying for years and I still can't get those darned french knots to look right! Great stuff, my sister would love the Winnie the Pooh ones.

They are all lovely, but I have to agree that the butterfly scroll is gorgeous. So detailed. It must have taken a lot of time to do such a beautiful piece. :)

Those look awesome! I have no idea how to do the french knot either. I can never do it right.

I really like all these but by far I love the butterfly scroll the most. I'm a real sucker for butterflies :nod
I can't do french knots either. You could just sew some little beads in or something.

Lol, Hey I know that butterfly! I made that one too for decoration in my upstairs bathroom. ^_^ It has this whole Asian theme and all the pictures are cross-stitched maybe I'll post mine one day, but yours looks great as well ^_^
