Perler Bead Questions.

Post by HAKnSLASH »

Hi! I'm new to using Perler Beads and have several questions regarding them.

1) I live in Canada, where are the best places to pick up Perler Beads? Is there anywhere I can find just single colors? (In store, not online)

2) What do you use to store/organize your Perler Beads?

3) Where can I find a bigger board to create bigger items?

4) What do you do to prevent your neck from hurting when working for long amounts of time?

Thank you very much. :) Sorry for being so noob.

I keep my beads in plastic craft organizer boxes from Hobby Lobby or JoAnn. A bag of 1000 beads fits just about perfectly into 2 cubes of this kind of tray.

Try Michael's, if there's one near you. Canada really is lacking in its big-chain craft stores. But they'll have those plastic organizers for your beads, at least- I got mine there. (I don't know if they carry the actual beads, but they probably do...) You could also try Wal-Mart, either in their craft section or in kids' toys.

Good luck!
