And thank you for the congrats on the house we are slowly coming to terms with it - although handing over the deposit will be a tricky day!! lol
My husband brought him up to visit us at the hospital, it was pretty cute. At first all he cared about was seeing his mommy and dragging me home with him after almost a full day apart. He didn't notice the baby until I told him that our baby was there, too. He cautiously went over and gave baby hugs and kisses, then he was ready for all of us to leave. He was rather irate when we couldn't go with him and screamed all the way out. Now that we're home, he just gives the baby this silly look (kind of like "How did you get out of Mommy's tummy?" haha) and smiles at him a lot. So far so good!
If handing over the deposit is anything like paying the closing costs for buying a house here, I feel your pain. That was a sad day for my bank account. lol

It will be a very sad day for the bank account, but it will be worth it. We're lucky to be able to get on the market at the moment even WITH a deposit!!
Glad your little boy is coping with the new found brotherhood. It can be really hard for them. When I had my second my daughter instantly fell in love with him which was sweet - and he follows her around like a little lost lamb which is even more sweet!
My husband and I just bought a house as well. We've been in for a little over a month now. Down payment day was a sad one. It was nice seeing huge numbers in our accounts, if only for a few days.

Unlucky
Hope you get it sorted out though.

I hate that! I'm almost done with my stitching, and somehow I didn't quite get it centered in my fabric so one edge has like 1 inch border and the other side has less than 1/2. Going to make finishing it a lot harder! Hope everyone elses projects are going well. I love all the gifts so far.
Celebriwen, your stuff is awesome!
Katdun, congrats!
My swap stuff is coming along nicely. I hope you're excited, partner, even though you don't know who you are yet!
