The stitching looks fabulous so far, I know it will have color added, but so far I am digging the black and white ^_^ Keep up the good work!
The orange aida came out so pretty too, I love the color.
***I love dying my aida ^_^
Biggest tips I have, makes sure to use hot hot hot water and make sure to use salt!
Also stir the fabric, when I haven't been careful and let it sit i've gotten patchy results.

Another big tip is to wear gloves and be sure to cover your work area.
I have some small orange blotches on the counter from the dye.
Though, it did come off with bleach, I would still cover your area up.
Wear an apron too!

...I wish someone had told me I could dye my aida years ago.
I'm working on a massive Super Mario Bros 3 piece, and I definitely stitched the background because I couldn't find a dark enough cream coloured cloth.
