I realized a while back that I could use sprite maps to layout pretty much anything, so, when I saw hot-fix rhinestones, I decided to try a different application of sprite craft. I took and "dumbed down" a Super Princess Peach map I had saved. Somebody else did the bulk of the work and had it saved in KG Stitch. I'm sorry, but I don't know who to credit for that work. I just acknowledge that somebody put in that initial time. I took that image and did away with a lot of the multiple shades of blues, pinks and yellows. Rhinestones simply don't have the same colour range that floss and Perler/Hama beads do. I wanted to get it finished in time to take to PAX East, in March, and had rather put it off. This meant I had to make do with what was available at Pat Catan's, which wasn't a whole lot. Still, I managed and did this work over the last three days.
I applied her with no grid what-so-ever, and she's a little crooked. She looks more amazing in person and is on the outside pouch of my favourite craft bag.
Here she is, my Rhinestone Princess.
