Bubble Bobble Ornament

Still figuring out how to use KG Stitch. I'd like to make a Christmas ornament out of the attached image (minus the grey background). Mine ends up as a big giant blur. A little help? I'd like it to be pretty small - maybe about 5 inches tall?

This pattern will be approximately 5" by 5".
The background in the pattern is not green, I have it as such so the white is more visible.
I had to draw the candy cane based on another cross stitch I found.
Hopefully you like it.
I couldn't find a way to make the candy cane you wanted look good/fit onto a 5" inch squared canvas.
