Mac friendly stitching software?

I have a software program for my PC, but that is sadly at home and I'm away at college. I only have my Mac laptop with me and would love to view more of these patterns but can only see them if they are PDF and I was wondering if anyone knew of any Mac-friendly stitching programs that are free or very cheap?
I don't mind making my own patterns, I just need a program..
