SUPER cute, Ellentje!! Goombas with wings are the only things more adorable than regular ol' Goombas.

Stardrifter, is that stitched on the back too?? It looks so small! What did you use there?

I wish I had time for this contest as well, however I am already trying to finish up a non-Sprite or video game-related bookmark for a friend's birthday (ack, less than a week left!), plus my band is gearing up for two gigs and is cracking the whip on fitting in as many practices as possible. >_o oi

on the back is a sticker printed off my computer onto sticker paper

it didn't stick as well as i wanted to i had to tack it down with some extra glue
now it seems to be stuck on there pretty well ;P

I've been constructively procrastinating my job hunt for the past few days to finish it, but I'm DONE!!!

BTW, I did notice the color flaw in the orange after I finished the section. I swear I brought the DMC number with me and it looked right in the florescent lighting, but I guess inherited floss from 10 years ago may not exactly match the color under the number today. Live and learn.

And the other backgrounds are also patterned but I thought they'd be more dramatic combinations than they are. :/ I made up the pattern as I went, so I think it turned out pretty well.
