Thanks for all the lovely comments it feels great to finish a long term project Yurtle just got to decide what to do next. After a wash its going to get framed but not sure where to hang it yet. I'm a bit shocked it made to the blog - wasn't expecting that lol!
I have seen similar cross stitch images on line of this title screen and they look amazing - sadly the image links on this thread are broken in my browser so I can't view the ones from the original poster - does anyone have the pattern for this? (Pref as a pdf) I have been searching for months with no success!
No luck finding the pattern for this (but I made quickly made a similar one, see below). I did however find a copy of the finished piece by Chickenstitch on imgur/reddit.
Someone else also shared a .png file of the title screen as well. It's slightly different because the background is scrolling and this screen capture was a second or two later, but this is what I used to make the pattern.

I ran it through KG-chart for you. Sorry there's so many pages in the PDF; if I don't blow it up that big, you can't see all the symbols. I suggest you don't just follow the pattern and check the colors against the original image before you start stitching, especially the blues.

Wow, what an impressive piece! I'm doing a piece from a Genesis title screen myself, but I'm only doing the character art. I think I'd go crazy if I tried to do all the background too lol.
I'll ditto checking the blues. I probably bought a dozen more blues that I didn't already have just to compare and contrast them all and try to get a decent match for my piece.
