Dr. Mario Viruses
so i painted these pictures.. i just dont know what color to paint the background.. any suggestions?

With the grids still showing it reminds me of tile work. Imagine how cool they'd look as a back splash!

I would suggest that, since the viruses are all primary colors, that for the background you use the complementary colors for each virus.
In color theory, the complement of each primary color is the result of mixing the remaining two primary colors, so:
Red complements (Blue+Yellow) = Green
Blue complements (Red+Yellow) = Orange
Yellow complements (Red+Blue) = Purple
So, I'd say for the Red Virus a Green background, the Blue Virus an Orange background, and the Yellow Virus a Purple background...
