Amigurumi Super Smash Bros. Cast

Post by no_need »

I have set myself a challenge to make amigurumi of all of the original playable SSB characters. I've started with Kirby (since this is my first self-designed amigurumi, and Kirby is basically a ball :D )...

I definitely need to work on my method of putting the facial features on... but I'm reasonably happy with him anyway!

Love him! You've got his stubby little flippers dead-on, too. :good:

Thanks guys!

I need some supplies before I can start on the next one - sadly, my local Hobbycraft doesn't stock all the colours I'll need for the full cast, so I need to find somewhere online to get the wool.

I think Jigglypuff will be next...

I'm looking forward to seeing how you go with this! And I love how you embroidered the details on. I usually use felt and it is always so fiddly and I can never get the shapes right! Next time I'll give embroidery a go :)

Thanks - I like the idea of embroidering the details, but I definitely used the wrong materials! I'm going to source some alternatives and have a little experiment before doing the next face.

Very cute! And if you have a Micheals nearby, maybe see if they'll order it for you?

Sadly, in the UK the only big crafting store is Hobbycraft, and they're not great for needlecrafts... There are some little independent shops though, so I plan to investigate a few of those. If not, the internet will provide!
