Here's my Tetris scarf. Didn't use a pattern for it, made my own by drawing squares on some graph paper. I went the worst route for doing it though, did each individual square, then attached 4 squares together to make a tetrad, then put those together to make the scraf. Next time, I'm just going to alternate colors into one solid piece.
The colors were with Lion Brand Microspun, the black was Carron Soft (the store didn't have Microspun in black). They're the same weight technically (weight 3), but the Carron is ever so slightly thicker than the Microspun so it wound up making the black pieces bigger and caused a bit of warping. I will definitely use all Microspun next time.
What do y'all think? Any tips from those who might have experience with Tetris crafts?

Re: Tetris Scarf
That looks fantastic!
While the other method is probably easier, I think the separate blocks look really good. All the squares are even, and the black to stitch them together adds to it's charm.
I'd buy one if its cost was within my budget! =D

Re: Tetris Scarf
Sadly this first one is a gift for a good friend of mine whom I recently taught to crochet, but I am planning to make more! I was even thinking of selling them... How much do you think something like this would go for? I have no idea how to price this stuff lol

figure out how much you'd want to get paid hourly, then figure out how long it took you.Alora wrote:Sadly this first one is a gift for a good friend of mine whom I recently taught to crochet, but I am planning to make more! start there, then lower your price as needed. =)
