WIP: Super Mario 3 - World Map 1 - pixel hobby

I love the look of the world map projects, and I love pixel hobby, so I decided to try an combine them both into a project. Using the World Map 1 pattern in the pattern section here, I matched colors as best I could. There are a few colors (such as the main background yellow) that I am not too thrilled with, but overall it will still be OK.
I had to make a few adjustments to the edges, since the baseplates are a fixed size. All I did, though, was add a few lines to each side as a "frame" to account for the extra lines that were needed to fill. The way the pattern is made it easier to complete one baseplate at a time. I haven't been working on it much lately because I get distracted by all the new and awesome projects out there that I want to do, so I start something else without finishing this one. I'll update with pictures as I work on it, though.
I only have a few completed, below is how it looks so far.




Actually, I have more than this done, but not much more. I have completed the incomplete baseplate and have started another, that's all.

It looks great! I love the clean, bright colours that Pixelhobby creates, it lends itself so well to video games.
