This is what I was going to do when the stitch-a-long was only going to be Moogles. However, instead of Canada it was going to say Narshe. Now that it's all FF I think i'll change it.

I LOVE THE MOOGLE PAGE !!!

Did you intended to stitch it ?? I would be awsome !

I'm still creating my Moogle amigurumi pattern on paper. It's harder than it looks if you want to get some details right, like the body and the head (ok, not details). I thought of doing two spheres, but that wasn't it. The body is actually a kind of egg-shape, so I'll be doing an egg. The head is the hardest: I can't get the cheeks right. Luckily, I found a pattern for the wings on the internet.

I found the perfect yarn, a white plushy thread. I'll use bright red cotton for the nose, the overhead sphere and the wings.

I'd like to do a key chain with my finished amigurumi; therefore, it'll be as small as possible. I'll keep you posted, as long as you keep posting your awsome ideas ! This is great inspiration !

I've found a project to do. My friend likes it, so I'll be doing it for him.
I love the arigami moogle. It will look super cute, mine however, isn't!

Oh! How perfect! I'm working on an FF-themed project right now! It's a crocheted granny square blanket where each pixel = one square!

I've finished the Black and White Mages-- they're huge! I don't want to clog these forums with a bunch of pics, but you can see them on my blog: shylahstitches.blogspot.com.

Was that to me (I'm embarrassingly new to message boards!) If it was- then yes-- I followed the directions on this site, photoshopped the sprites fromShyGuyKingdom into this format.

If that wasn't for me-- sorry!

So, after one day, the progress so far...

^_^ I havent had time to stitch at all when I have been home, so only the progress I have made with my breaks at work. Total stitching time so far is about 20mins. The plan is tonight, and hopefully this weekend, to be able to spend lots of time stitching!

I hate using hoops/scrolls on stitching, so I do almost all my things without, but it seems like with such a large piece of fabric (18"x15") I will have to break down and use a scroll.

Anyone have some any ideas on how I can keep the scroll from stretching out my fabric? That was the main problem I had with my last large piece I worked on.
Working on:
Mini-Swap, Chocobo chart, Mega Man piece
Sewing - 3 different Disappearing 9-Patch quilts

I was originally going to do the final boss from FF6 (including the statue before kefka) but realised I'd never ever finish so I decided to start with the original Final Fantasy ending boss and work my way through the games up to FF6 as a long term goal. So for the Stitch-a-long I will be starting with this guy:

Image

After I finish him I will see about moving onto the FF2 boss and maybe throw in a moogle on plastic canvas for kicks. I can't wait to see everyone's progress, some awesome ideas so far.
A Stitch is Worth... How much is a stitch worth?
