Earthbound/Mother 3 Projects (Two complete, one WIP)

I just recently got back into cross stitching! Here are the two things I've finished so far.


A Mr. Saturn saying "ZUCCHINI!"


The four main characters on a somewhat wonky background.

This is a smaller project I'm working on now, the Ultimate Chimera from Mother 3. I didn't realize his body had three colors, so I haven't been able to finish it yet. XD



I would like to do a checkered background similar to the Earthbound characters' one -- any suggestions? I don't know what colors to do! Hopefully it won't make the fabric all wavy as I've invested in some frames since then.

Yaaaay you posted on here! (I'm Pixel Stitches btw haha). I really like the Mr. Saturn! And you pulled off the font really well

And I dunno if you got my email back or not yet, but for the straight lines for the background, like I said, plastic canvas is your best bet over aida cloth. Either that, or when you're finished you can try to find a way to pull the fabric taught

I finished up my Ultimate Chimera, complete with checkered background. Using the frame made a world of difference.

I really like how it came out! I alternated the direction of the background stitching -- white going one way, green going the other. It gives it a really trippy feel when you move it around. :] I hope my friend likes it!
