Thank you!Asinine wrote:About how long does it take you to crochet each square?

Each square is really quick actually, maybe 2-3 min. tops? It's just that there are so many of them xD Also sewing them all together takes some time. Even a small piece like the Chocobo rug took me about 4 days to sew together after all the squares were made. So I'm figuring from now to completion, it should take me about 3-4 more weeks if I work a bit every day

Re: Mega Man rug
I am really loving this rug! It's so innovative!
I wish I could crochet. Do you think knitting the squares would work? I might have to try it later and see how it looks.
Yours is going to look so awesome when it's done.

Re: Mega Man rug
I don't see whynot! It actually my lay flatter even if you knitted them. I'd actually love to see a knitted version to see the differences. With crocheting them, it seems to make the yarn pretty heavy/poofy, so if you wanted something a bit thinner, knitting would probably be okay. I should try that myself too xDLunariah wrote:Do you think knitting the squares would work?
Here's the newest progress shot! I finally got to his "undies" lol:

I should have another picture up after the weekend sometime

Looks like it's coming along fantastically!
How big is each square? Looks like a few short rows of double crochet?

Re: Mega Man rug
Each square is a little over one inch all around. And it's actually just single crochet! Can't get much simpler than that xDCerity wrote: How big is each square? Looks like a few short rows of double crochet?
Here's a new progress shot, though I haven't gotten much farther:

I'm literally going to need to take the next pictures while standing on a chair because it's getting too big to fit in all of the camera view at a 5'7" height
