Recent Projects!

Post by littlerose95 »

Hey! Haven't been on here in awhile, but my excuses include the holidays, discovering Tumblr, The Walking Dead, and Assassins Creed 3 basically taking over my life, haha. Anyway I thought I'd post some of the stitching I've done since I was last here!
First is this WIP I've been recently neglecting. Original pattern made by the lovely Blackmageheart, but I added the text, so hope she doesn't mind too much

Next comes two birthday/Christmas presents for my mom and brother. The Foxhound logo (for my brother) is a pattern I found on here, I think, and the Chicken (for my mom) is from one of my grandmas old cross stitch books. (I messed up a little on the wing, but oh well)

And the next three are all Assassin's Creed related (well mostly Connor) The first is the mini Ezio pattern by spinuntilyoufall on the wiki, I stitched Ezio awhile ago, not sure if I posted, but then decided he needed Connor to go with him, so I changed a few things to fit Connor:

Then I decided to experiment a little and make a bracelet based off Connor's armband. I was really happy with the result and practically wear it everywhere, so I posted a picture to my Tumblr and a friend on there liked it, and she requested one based on the Templars, which lead to the other one. I'm not too pleased with the backstitch I did since it was sorta a last minute idea. It says "May the Father of Understanding guide us". The bracelets are actually really fun to make, too!

And finally, my current WIP. It basically started with my wanting to stitch the eagle on Connor's hood. After playing around with some official artwork of him, I made my own pattern zoomed in on the hood in black and white. I'm nervous with how it'll turn out, but I'm liking it so far (Just so much black!):

I think I'll actually post WiPs of it, depending on how I like it, but we'll see!

Thank you for looking and I hoped you liked them!

I really like the bracelets! Just curious, what kind of fabric did you use to make them stiff like that?

To blackmageheart: Thank you! And hopefully it'll be done soon! Might switch between it and my current WIP

I actually used plastic canvas! I stitched them on aida like this:

then sewed the two sides around plastic canvas. The ends are actually a little messy, but they connect with a hook and eye, I think is what they're called. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

That's pretty cool. I just might have to do that myself at some point!
