Philpepe's video game (master)pieces
Ok, so I have quite a few video game pieces I've done, and some are already scattered throughout this site, but I'm going to try to consolidate them into this one thread.
In the meantime, I have had a surge of inspiration this morning and I think I have decided to embark upon a stitching quest that will be the toughest (and craziest) that I have ever attempted.
It will include 128 separate "pieces" that will make the "whole" and as it looks now, each "piece" will be comprised of 43,008 stitches, making 5,505,024 stitches all together. Looking at it that way, I'm starting to wonder if I'm insane for even considering it.
With a few more calculations I found that if I get 1000 stitches every day, 355 days a year (10 days for holidays), then it will take me around 15 1/2 years to complete it.
Still, I think it might just be to awesome not to do...

1000 stitches a day with only 10 non stitch days per year - that is epic all on its own...wish i could stitch that consistently. i can stitch for 8-10 hours a day (assuming not working) for weeks at a time, but i eventually need to take a few weeks off to enjoy other things - like games, playing with cats, maybe talking to the boyfriend

I'm not sure if I could ever actually stitch to that level, I was just playing with the numbers to see just how large this thing is.
To take it even further, I'm actually considering stitching all of it on 28 ct... yea, I'm sure I'm losing it.

How intriguing! When will we find out what it is?

I'm working the Light World map from LTTP right at the moment and that is bad enough on 22ct. I don't think I could even contemplate doing that particular map. It's bigger than my Big Buck piece I'm doing and it's on 28ct!
