Newest update got a reasonable amount done because of a long weekend, but it's back to school today so progress for this week will be slow. I have 39 days to finish this, that'll give me a few days to clean block and frame this thing

Thanks! I painted it with paint and fabric medium, to get it to seep through and set nicely, not just sit on top and flake off. So not quite dyeing, but not far off!

Done a little more, and I *am* resizing that last pic I posted - TOO HUGE OMG

Whoohoo! Done another metallic, now onto #642
It's the weekend, so hope to get a bit done. My eyes have been playing up a bit this week - I get migraines really easy in Fluorescent light, been doing a course for the last fortnight soooo... >.>

Off to bed now anyway, so here's a pretty pic, you can almost see the sparkling. It's just showing up as slightly lighter than it should.

I machine sewed the cover, and hand stitched the bird onto it. The cover's a bit big, but i'm really too lazy to fix it, at least until I have to get the machine out again.

Doing as much as I can in the weekends, need to get this thing done, Then I've got more time to dedicate to my cousin's baby sampler (she pops in about 10 weeks!) So I want to have it mostly done, just leaving the name and details until baby arrives, of course. Plus next month's SAL!

has it truly only been a week since I started the last page? wow.

Makes me feel so much less guilty about my 'slow' progress! I'm going pretty damn fast!

So if I feel like it, I could arguably do a colour a day all week, and be done around friday..not including the back stitching and embellishments. Huh. That's something.

If it wasn't for the fact i'm knackered, and have school in the morning (last week of classroom work! )I'd be continuing on, at least for the next colour i've got highlighted on the pattern - there's not a lot of it to do. But i'm overtired already, I don't need a harder time to get to sleep

So much awesome stuff in this topic. The koi is beautiful, the baby sampler is so cute, and the unicorn is looking great!
