yay! I'll take that as an 'i'm not crazy' recommendation. ;)

i've finally finished the light creamy colour, and i'm doing another metallic now. I figure i'll go cotton, metals, cotton, etc, until the metals are done -makes it less tedious for me,anyway!

so what, two days of progress? Admittedly there's a lot of answering the call of Skyrim, or i'd have gotten more done - but still! It's looking good - creamy in fact. I'm doing the B5200 at the moment, and after that i'll go back to a metallic - there can't be that many left on this sheet.

it's a bit hard to see the different colours, it's a bit more light tan coloured than the picture shows.

thankyou

I've been doing a bit here, and a bit there - finished a couple of colours, and about halfway through another at the moment.

OH. MY. GLOB, you guys!
I'm the happiest lumpy person in the world right now.

MIL just brought over a BUTTLOAD of floss and Aida/evenweave she doesn't need anymore (arthritis)... :yahoo:
i'm adding it all to my lists, and i've added about 70 skeins of floss... i'm only about 1/3 the way through the mounds of floss.

the wolf at the back will probably never get finished, unless MIL finds the key for it. i've got the last of the pattern, so there's that at least. I could probably nut it out, and I might still, if I get inspired. The dragon was finished in 1991, so it shows how long she's been holding onto this stuff!

OH OH OH OH THERES ANOTHER (BIGGER) BAG COMING TOO! MIL just needs to find it!

I know right!
I made a separate list of what I got - about half is peices of less than 1/2 a skein, the other half is full/barely used skeins... I was given 315 thingys of floss. Thingy being the technical term, of course. ;)
Also I found some weird brand called perma-lustra. weeeird.

Sorry to hear your friend can't stitch anymore, but I'm glad all of her materials can find a good home!
Once you have sorted it all out perhaps see if there are many you can send to Rbaron? You recall the incident with the cleaner and the entire collection of threads being incinerated?
