Is there any way you can work with what you've already done but simplify it? Like cutting out background or something?

I'm a little disappointed in myself right now and I want to spoil my swappie so much ! :D

You really need to rig the next swap next time BMH so I get you and you get a quilt. You are just so helpful and awesome.

So I should finish the commissions I am working on this weekend. Then I will get started on the quilt for my swap buddy. I still haven't decided and keep waffling back and forth. I may just put both ideas in a hat and pull one out.

I already have 2 smaller projects finished for them, so it is just the lap quilt I need to finish. I need to also start getting ready for too many games in June so will be BUSY!

I will take a "preview" picture like I did last time just to get everyone going on what quilt it could be. :D Either quilt I do are both new patterns so it isn't one I have done yet.

Hehe, I would SO do it...but everyone else deserves the chance of getting an epic quilt from you, so random it is! :D
Maybe one day...!

I've been doing a lot of swap work lately. I originally planned on a few small things and a couple medium things. I've finished most of them - and added in something I didn't plan on, which has pushed my original timetable back a bit, but I'm having fun with it. For now, though, Medium Thing #2 is kicking my :mush . It's a seat-of-the-pants kind of thing, and right now it's making me want to take the :yoshi thing out behind the shed to put it out of its misery. But I shall persevere! AC Moore got a few more of my dollars today, so it's time to put my nose to the grindstone once again.

I can't wait to send my package out to my swap partner! I am in the finishing stages of my second to last project, all I have after that is to stitch up a couple of small things and then I will be done.....unless I think of something else, lol. :) I can't wait to start seeing the pictures of all the great items everyone is making!! I am excited to see what I receive, but I think I am just as excited to see what everyone else gets too!
I think so, Brain, but can the gummi worms really live in peace with the marshmallow chicks?
I think so, Brain, but if they called them "sad meals" nobody would buy them.

Hi!

I'm new to spritestitch and I'm pretty interested in the idea of 'mini swap' and 'big swap'. I take part in mail art - via the International Union of mail Artists (IUOMA) over at iuoma-network.ning.com - As you guys are already crafty mail arting with the swap I thought some of you might be interested in signing up and giving it a go. Most of the art is collage or sketches but Ive seen a few craft based projects and what better to receive through your letter box than video game inspired craft!

Got a good bit done on one of my gifts last week while I was on vacation, but not as much as I had hoped. I think mine is somewhere between 30,000 and 40,000 stitches, but I'm sure it will be done on time. Just hope I can get it, and at least one more gift done as well!
Current Projects: Crocheting stuff, writing letters, cross stitching stuff oh, and making beer!
