One game I absolutely love is World of Warcraft. I have many fond memories of the game and it will always hold a special place in my heart since it's where I got to know my husband (our first date included going to see The Amazing Spiderman and after that, we went home, got on the game and killed Deathwing!). So, I was thinking of some Warcraft-y cross stitches I could do. I already have the patterns for Breathing2004's Warcraft maps, but I was thinking of doing something that was from each game (Vanilla, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria). Since both my husband and I love Breathing2004's art, I find it only fitting to stitch his work.
For Vanilla, one of the things I remember most about it was the Blood Plague that became a major event in MMO history. For the first project, I will be doing Crash of an Empire.
For Burning Crusade, two new races were added and the one race my husband and I play often is Blood Elves, so I will be stitching Blood Sunset for this.
For Wrath, I plan on doing the Fall of Arthas, which I already have a pattern for so I won't need one for that picture.
For Cataclysm, I'll be doing Hour of Twilight since, let's face it, it revolved a LOT around Deathwing
And finally for Mists, I'm going to do the Story of Pandaria with Emperor Shaohao. Again, I have this pattern, so I won't need it.
More than likely I will be stitching this on 14 or 18 count fabric. Size doesn't matter too much since I know that these will be huge projects. The amount of colors doesn't matter, as long as it looks good (though I really don't want to be working on a project with 200+ colors). For the file, I would prefer it to be either .sth or.pdf. Thanks in advance for the patterns!
EDIT: I forgot to add something! For the pattern, I would prefer to have it with color blocks and symbols as it is easier on my eyes! Thanks!
