Wow, Lileya, you've had some pretty bad luck, huh? I hope you feel better soon!

Sorry that you're not feeling good Lileya! Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I am still chugging away on my square with just 5 days til it goes in the mail! I've gotten it from 13 colors down to 4 left to go. I will be down to 3 to go by the end of the evening. The last 3 will be the most time consuming since they are the larger areas. I still dont' have a pic yet but It's looking good. My 11 yr old son tells me it's beautiful when I ask his opinion, so I am REALLY REALLY pushing to finish it!

For those that are down to the wire and may not make it to me in time, you can always send it Fed Ex. It may cost a lot more money, but I have never had it take more than one week. Or Fed Ex has an overnight or two day option. That will give you extra time.

I was totally wrong. There is no way for me to get my square done in time.
I'm also really short on money right now. Won't be able to afford to send it. Boo! I'll work on it through the rest of the year and hopefully have it done for next year. *feeling a bit ashamed for not starting it back in January like I should have*

Hooray, I finished my square tonight!
I'll post a pic tomorrow. I'm so relieved to be done. My husband's first comment was, "So, do I get my wife back now?"
Anyway, the only thing that stinks is that I won't be able to ship it until Friday, when I get paid.

Teach them to stitch too? Then you can make twice as many cool things and you get to spend time together and can compete with each other, and they all stitched happily ever after!Lileya wrote:Thanks for the kind words, no_need and SofaraStarfyre! I hope I feel better soon too... X_x

Edit to Add: I had to go buy a new lamp for next to the chair I have my floor stand setup with since the old one decided to die on me unexpectedly the other day. My other good stitching lamp at my desk died 2 days before that.

My 4 finished squares are now in the hands of the United States Postal Service... They will go out this afternoon and be on their way to Canada shortly after that!

I totally forgot to mention that I mailed my square Saturday (about 4 days ago), so hopefully you'll be getting it soon, tnitnetny!
