See and that is why swaps are so much fun! Knowing you love your gifts makes me smile just as much.

Re: APR-JUN: Big Swap!
Got a good bit done tonight and kind of feel like I may still have a chance of finishing on time. I think this thing may be one of the biggest pieces I've done yet as far a stitch count goes.... and it's only ONE of ny gifts!

I hope I'm not the only one who got quite attached to the gifts they were making! My mother has been saying to me since I began making the gifts 'I don't know how or why you're letting these go!'

Haha, I know what you mean! My boys each like different gifts for my swappee. I let my son help with one, so he's very concerned with where that one is and we'll have to make another one. My brother demanded that I let him pose for pictures with the second gift and requested his own. My husband wants me to re-make the big gift for our own house. Then I got bored over the weekend and made another unplanned project that I might make a similar one for myself. lol
I have to look up a tutorial online so I can come up with a plan B for my last project... I totally failed at using fabric dye.

I was really attached to my gift... it was a very difficult parting. Especially since my husband was whispering, "Just make something else, we'll keep this," in my ear.Ally wrote:I hope I'm not the only one who got quite attached to the gifts they were making! I'm hoping my swappie got my package- I sent it over a week ago and haven't heard anything... wouldn't be concerned, except my local post office has messed up a few things for me in the past.

Definitely not. Of the things I'm working on so far, my wife wants the big one, and I want to make one of another for myself, so yea...Ally wrote:I hope I'm not the only one who got quite attached to the gifts they were making! Re: APR-JUN: Big Swap!
I learned a long time ago how to give things I make away...now all I seem to do is make things for other people!
This project...in a way I am attached to it because of the work I've put in, but I won't be sad to see it go, because I made it for somebody else and I want it to make that person happy!
In other news - I received my swap gifts from msstitcher! Picture!
I have: a Black Mage bag, a Phantasy Star Online biscornu, a BMH-Hr hanging piece and some Mario Kart sweeties. Also a lovely hand drawn card of my forum badges etc!
Moar pictures!
I adore everything in the package. EVERYTHING!
There's really nothing like personal, handmade gifts to cheer you up when you're feeling a bit down. Thank you so much msstitcher! <3

Awesome! I was hoping I was getting a box because I knew she meant either you or me as to the hardest person.
