Hello,
I'm just getting back into the cross-stitch game and I'd like to do something Zelda related. I made a post a couple of days ago for a pattern and after running it through KG-Chart myself I decided that it seemed too complicated. So, I'm back and I think I've figured out what I would like to do. I would like to see if I can get a pattern of the following picture: http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss20 ... kReady.jpg. I've already tried to make a pattern with KG-Chart but, I can't seem to get it any smaller than about 8 inches tall. I'm also new to using KG-Chart and I'd like to see if someone with more expertise could take a crack at it. Ideally I would like to get it down to about 6 inches tall but, if that's not possible I can settle for a little bigger. Amount of colors isn't really too big of an issue I think my chart had about 43 which was fine. I'm also not really sure about the type of fabric it seems like most people use 18 count Aida or something like that so that's also fine with me. Thanks!

I wasn't terribly satisfied with the color matching, I made a few changes but it's still not perfect, so be aware you may have to fiddle with the colors more

Thank you Aetius,
I tried to get the pattern to work but was having trouble. I ended up going back to the drawing board and giving it another shot. Here is what I came up with:
I still couldn't get it much smaller than 8.3 x 7.5 inches but I'm pretty pleased with it. If anyone has any comments or suggestions please let me know. Thanks!
Oh, and here's the pattern:
