Shanoa that looks awesome! I think that would be a nice square for the quilt.

I'm going to have to bow out of this project...I just don't have any time to do any stitching or crafting...

I love the idea and I hope you guys pull it off in great sprite stitch fashion...Let me know if you need anything logistically on my end!

I had the flu recently so I didn't do any stitching for a week - I'm getting back up to speed though :)
Here's an update on my squares!

The Phantasy Star square is finished (it needs washing etc but I thought a pic wouldn't go amiss lol):

The Shining Force square is coming along nicely - hope to have it done very soon:

Jadely - love the Earthbound square!
Shanoa - can't wait to see those fairies stitched!

Hope everyone's doing well :D

Everyone is doing such awesome work!
I love the fairy Square Shanoa! It's beautifull, even without the fat fairy.

I'm working on my own square but progress is sloooow.
Though my order of DMC skeins came in yesterday, so I finally have all the colors I need for it. ^^

I think a while ago we said it was up to the individual stitcher if they wanted to fill the background. Filling background might kill the project for some people, and it gives the quilt a bit more of a "rustic" look when done.

I'm pretty sure the quilter said the squares need to be completely filled in, because of the way it's assembled.

Edit: Just went back and looked, and they said they would prefer it to be filled in. I think it would make it look cleaner. It might be tedious, but I'm willing to do it if it makes a nicer looking end result.
Current Project(s): How much time do you have? LOL

Yeah, I would prefer the squares to be completely filled (even if it is just white). This will help with not only keeping them looking uniform, but help the batting not get yucky. There is a chance over time with repeated washings of the batting slowly working its way out of the quilt through the unstitched holes. We aren't just making the quilts to look awesome, but we are making them functional too.

Hi, I'm a bit late to the party, but I would be interested in stitching something as well, I don't really have a preference for a game I would like to do, but if there are any quilts in need of squares, I would love to do something. I actually just joined because I was interested in this project :nod
