My first try

This is my first try at making a perler sprite. Do you recognize it? It is a WIP, but I should be done soon. My question is: How should I go about trying to iron this monster? I had no idea how big it would be. I bought 2 pegboards and thought I would be cool. When all is said and done, this thing will be 3 pegboards tall and 3 wide.
Have any of you guys fused these things with an epoxy or anything other than ironing?
Thanks for the help.

I can almost summon the label of the NES game to mind... it's driving me crazy now that I can't put my finger on it!

I don't know !!!
Neither the game nor the better way to iron your work... if it's possible I think I'll iron in one piece...

I know what game this is!
As to the fusing, I'm not a perlerererer but from what I know ironing is best.

you won't need to use anything on it other than ironing!
You can choose to iron one side, or both!
Then you can choose if you want to iron it lightly enough to leave the beads as circles, or if you want to flat iron them(making them look like square pixels!
I'd suggest buying a roll of parchment paper from your local grocery store (NOT WAX PAPER) and use that larger sheet to iron it with, because you won't have to move it around if you don't have enough.
since it's your first one, just iron it to where the beads will fuse together on one side, and put something heavy on it to keep it from curling when it cools.
I think your hogan's alley sprite is looking fantastic. Make sure you post pics when you're done!
