Sprite Stitch Board!

Well, its pretty much finished. The "Hit Me With Your Best P-Shot" is going to be added on later. I kinda like the way this one looks alone, too. Appx 4,000 beads!

Wow you got Mega Man done already!? It looks real good so far. I love how his fist looks like it's "popping" out of the scene.

Thank you! I'm doing as many "pop" scenes as I can; its a very nice effect.

Next project already started!

I love them. I would like to do a big perler project of my own with the Kingdom Hearts characters eventually. Do you come up with these from the top of your head or do you look at a pattern or image to do them?

This looks really good. It amazes me how quickly beads can be made into something faster than cross stitch. I love looking at all you patterns that you make. Are you making them for friends and family too?
I've thought about trying beads but I've got a little scamp of a 2 year old and I would be trying to get him away from the little beads more than me making them!
Maybe in a few years. For now cross stitch is safer (I have to hide the scissors still).

Both. It just depends upon the project. Some projects I've done have had to come out of my own head completely. Others I've at least had a sprite to work from. Most of the decorative parts of my pieces are original, tho some aren't.

Its possible that there is existing work/custom sprites for KH, and if not, that it could be compiled given what sprites are available.

Thank you! To be fair, I notice most bead spriters say I go much faster than them, too, so the time diff you may be seeing has a little to do with that. I think cross stitch does take a little longer tho. Hurts my fingers too, heh.

Right now I'm just kinda making 'em to make 'em: I want to start an Etsy store and having a portfolio of everything that you can order to be custom made is a priority. Til then, I'm either selling these or giving them away; a few I've made specifically with loved ones in mind, or at their request.

Yeah you seen to go faster than us at the perler bead projects. Especially since they are all big ones. With the crazy hours I work all the time, I come home too wore out to want to stare at little beads on a pegboard after I've been staring at a computer screen all day. (I work in a pharmacy) LOL Even if I did have all day, it takes me a long time to do a decent sized project.

lol whereas me, I unwind by watching TV while mindlessly beading and drinking a cocktail! Different strokes I guess!
