ShampooTeacher-Inspired Paintings!

So, thanks to
ShampooTeacher's glorious bead sprites and painting skills, I got inspired to start doing some myself! Granted, I have no experience with canvas, and very little with paint, but I did my best!
My biggest complaint is that, in mixing the colors for this, I made them look far too realistic, nothing like the bright background to Mario, or even the brighter background in the coop itself. Oh well, just more to learn from
The detail of the process can be seen in my newly created blog
here!

Aaaand I just finished the second one I was working on! Including my first bead sprite that took four boards!
Phew! Now I can finally start working on gifts for people!

I absolutely adore the white mage one!
Especially the little red triangles on the sides. Reminds me of the white mage costume I made one year.

This is so cool! I'm honoured. I agree about the red triangles on the white mage. It's the PERFECT touch. Before I started pixel painting, I had no painting practice. (I almost failed Grade 10 art because I sucked at painting! (51%))
But as with most things in life, you have to start somewhere and the more you do, the better you get.
