custom sprite

A friend of mine asked me if I could make a bead sprite out of this image:


I'm teh suck at Photoshop, but despite that I figured out how to pixelize it sufficiently. Can anyone tell me how to force a certain color palette so that there aren't 18 shades of gray, etc? If it's easier to just do it, anyone willing to make a pattern out of this for me?

Not sure how efficient it is, but you can use the Index Color Mode to force a certain palette.

Image > Mode > Indexed Color... > Palette: Exact; Forced: Custom > Specify all your colors.

Again, once you specify these colors it may be close, but not exactly what you need.
