I wanna start making some Perler art! I love the dimension they have! Where do you purchase yours? I went to Michaels but I wasnt impressed by their selection.

Also, do you follow a pattern? And is anyone willing to make a "how to" thread for it? Thanks!

I've gotten them online from both Herrschners and Joanns. You should be able to get a big mixed bucket to start with, but I'd get a couple packs of just solid white and black so you have enough to make most sprites.

I just use regular cross stitch charts mainly and eyeball the colors. I hope that helps!

Just like katdun said, Joann's is a nice place for perlers. They're actually having a sale on their website right now, so you should definitely check it out! As for patterns, you can use cross stitch patterns, where each 1 stitch = 1 bead. If you'd like to try your hand at making your own pattern, Servotron uploaded a seriously helpful guide to using KG Chart for cross stitch patterns, that can be used for you perler patterns as well.
