I was browsing around etsy, and i ran into this:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/104193495/m ... tched-cell

But my item looks like this:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/104103984/ ... all-magnet

How do i get that beautiful clean edge that the other artist got? I've tried that in the past and it looks frayed and terrible. If you look at my pokeball magnet, even the edges on that are horrible.
Any advice on this?

They are using plastic canvas - it says so in the description - which lets you make crisp edges as long as you are using a sharp knife ;)

Oh
What size plastic canvas would you recommend for cross stitch size?
I've never used it before for cross stitching.. is it about the same as the fabric? o__o

User StitchPlease posted an awesome tutorial on using plastic canvas here:

Using her techniques, I've made some great charm-style keychains. Hopefully her thread can help you out.

Oh, and 14ct plastic canvas is a great size for most 8-bit/16-bit patterns.
