Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi everyone! I'm currently stitching little sprites to make magnets out of them. I'll buy magnets, but I'm not sure of how to put them together!

I wanted to put the fabric with a piece of thick paper using double-face adhesive, and then glue the paper to the magnet... But I don't think that the adhesive will stick to the fabric, considering it's like tissue... So maybe I should use liquid glue instead of adhesive, but I'm afraid it would go through the fabric and spoil everything!

What's your technique to make easy magnets?

Usually I glue the magnet to the back of the stitch with a tacky craft glue or something similar, and sew felt onto the back or use an adhesive felt.

i usually buy a sticky-backed magnet. they sell that at craft stores. the sticky side peels off like a sticker!

Really? I have never seen this in France! Is there a way to find it online?

May be a little late to the party, but I generally follow this technique

stitch pattern
cut with a wide border
cut a piece of thin card just a whisker smaller than your design
put the card behind the pattern, fold the fabric edge around the card and glue like crazy
Then glue felt and a magnet, or just a magnet depending how neat it looks
I use magnets that have sticky on them, but I add more glue to be safe
