Where does one get quality seed beads?

I'm just trying to get into seed beading, mostly so I can make a bunch of game-based bookmarks. I keep getting hung up on lousy equipment, though. I've finally got a loom and needles that I can work with, but found out that most of the beads I got are poorly made, which makes for a horrendously slow and fruitless experience. I figure if I can't get everything to work on my next try, I'll probably just quit, which I don't really want to do.
So does anybody know how to go about getting quality, uniform seed beads that will always, for instance, let a threaded needle through? We've got a local store dedicated to beads, but the seed beads come from different sources that aren't included on the labels, so it's hit or miss with them. The only other store around here that I can find with seed beads is Hobby Lobby, and they've only got a small handful of colors. I figure that leaves me with online sources, and I don't have the gumption to gamble with sources I don't know anything about, so I turn to you folks. Not that a lot of you seem to be into the seed bead deal, but hey, it's worth a shot.
