DMC Floss App for iPhone
Hey guys, just thought I would share this. I downloaded an app for my iPhone, called XStitcher (or XStitch, cant remember lol) that you can catalogue what floss you have. So if you're like me, go shopping for floss and forget what you have and what you don't, it helps! Also you can add projects and add the colors to each project for easy sorting. AND you can make a shopping list, so if you get a new pattern, you can have your list all ready to go
it's 2$ but it's well worth it to me. I think there are a couple versions for other floss brands too.

I really need to get my digit out and prettyfy my one
Mine is a lot simpler than the one you mention as it has no project lists. Just a single list. You can set the status of each colour to Don't Own, Own, On Bobbin and Need to Buy. You can filter the main display to show/hide each of the catagories. A detail view of each colour give you its Id, name ( English or French ), colour bar and the ability to change its state. Also it will be localised into English, French, Italian, Spanish and German. Has all Article 117 colours including the new varinated ones. Cost $1.
I also plan to release one that has the other styles in it, light effects, jewel, metallic, pearl etc
If there are any featurs you would find useful or would like to have let me know and I can add them.
Also free codes for Sprite Stitch members. ( while stocks last )

Im thinking of calling it Thread Tracker 117. But im not sure if the 117 is to obsucre, I want to avoid using DMC if at all possible, just in case DMC suddenly decided to get angry.meldale8 wrote:what's the name of your app?

Tread tracker sounds good...
I found the one i use by searching "cross stitch" and "stitch"....just thinking if you have something in the title that pertains to those subjects it might show up when people search, thus gaining more potential buyers.
just my 2 cents

I'd *love* a copy of this if you get to distributing. I don't have a smart phone but a friend in the US who buys threads for me does, and this would be an awesome way to get synced up for what I needed and have.Icelandic Hitman wrote:Also free codes for Sprite Stitch members. ( while stocks last )
Also, you can always call it something like "Thread Stitch Tracker" to grab the extra people looking for threads.
