PC Stitch Pro

Hey,

I have a question about using PC Stitch Pro. I have the program and have used it quite a bit for little sprite patterns but when it comes to making big patterns, how do you get the outline/backstitching lines on the pattern properly? I can't seem to get the program to put in outlines when it converts the image. Is this something I have to do manually? Also, will the program automatically put in half/quarter stitches in a pattern when it is super detailed or will it only use full stitches?

Thanks!

When you import an image -- its pixeled.
You will have to put the back stitching lines in manually.
My hobbyware problem I just have to circle it and it does the lines for me.... in side the design area too if I wanted it.
:)

Depending on the program......... you might have to manually put in the 1/4 stitches.
Mine I don't have too- does it for me when I flood fill an area!! :)

I know that when I used PC Stitch Pro I added all the back stitches manually but I think there is also an "outline" feature that will do it based on chunkc of colors...
I'm going to have to repurchase PCStitch Pro, turns out version 5 doesn't work with windows 7 (duh, right?), so I can't check atm.

Okay, thanks. I'll do a little more looking around. It's not a big deal when working with sprites but when I start making patterns for larger projects, I'd like a more finished look with the backstitching in there and I'm not sure if I have the right eye to add them in myself. I guess we'll see what happens!

The program doesn't work with Windows 7?? Guess that means I won't be updating my computer as soon as I thought I would be. Don't want to look access to that!

no no no! Version 5 doesn't work on Windows 7; the new version (9) works just fine!
