Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi all I wanted to defer to the experts here before I start this serously for my husband as a gift. I'm working in this pattern:

I do have the 22 ct material ready I just wanted to check if it means to stitch over one thread on the canvas or two?

If you are using 22ct aida then you will be going over 1 "thread". If you are using a linen then that all depends on your preferences. Going over 2 threads will double the size a bit.

Thank you it is linen so I will stick to over one thread as I'm pretty sure I don't have enough cloth to double the size. I will measure one more time.
