Sprite Stitch Board!

I'm playing with blackwork and I wanted to ask you guys for your opinion of the following pattern to see if it needs improving.

Are the apples supposed to be in a consistent pattern?

If yes - it doesn't seem that way

If no - looks good but I do find my eye keeps going to the apple touching the bottom right corner of the small triangle but I'm not sure if it will be a simple thing to adjust or should be left as is

Thanks, no they're not suppose to be consistent and I see what you mean about the one apple.

It's a nice pattern, will you be adding more to it? I can't help but feel there's a lot of open space and not a lot of detail (that's just me, though!). Having said that, I like the simplicity of it. Also, A for Apples...lol. B for Blackwork?

B for blackwork could work though I think I'll go with balloons instead. As for adding more, I'm stumped on ideas.
