Wouldn't something more like this be better:
http://www.oddsandinsonline.com/other%2 ... rsion.html
Should cut down on the size, and its more to the point...

Much better! Though the other one had more conversions ;) (like Mill Hill bead colors - not that many of use patterns w/beads).
The main set people seem to want is DMC <-> Anchor from what I've seen on the board.

Anyway, yes! An embroidery guide would be lovely!

Re: Craft Guides / FAQs ~ volunteers wanted!
I just thought of a new guide - we have a "framing your work" guide and a "using hoops and frames" but maybe we should also have a "how to finish a piece on a hoop"?
BMH had some good images in her Stitchings thread using flexihoops. I've used wooden hoops covered in ribbon/fabric as well... any thoughts?

Should probably put that in some kind of guide to alternative finishing techniques (ie not just sticking them in a frame!)kuja.girl wrote:I just thought of a new guide - we have a "framing your work" guide and a "using hoops and frames" but maybe we should also have a "how to finish a piece on a hoop"?

I originally ear marked that for the "framing" guide. The aim was to cover all possible ways of framing...blackmageheart wrote:Should probably put that in some kind of guide to alternative finishing techniques (ie not just sticking them in a frame!)kuja.girl wrote:I just thought of a new guide - we have a "framing your work" guide and a "using hoops and frames" but maybe we should also have a "how to finish a piece on a hoop"?

Fair enough!Lord Libidan wrote:I originally ear marked that for the "framing" guide. The aim was to cover all possible ways of framing...
What about non-frame (or even hoop) finishing techniques? They could probably all go together in one place, though.
