MY PICTURES ARE TOO BIG YOU CANT SEE THEM
THEY ARE WAY TO BIG WHEN I UPLOAD A PICTURE HOW TO I SHRINK THEM TO A NORMAL SIZE
my parents are muggles, i am not

Do you have a paint program on your computer? It comes with Windows, usually in "Accessories" in "Programs." Open your pic, go to Image, then Resize/Skew, then for both vertical and horizontal put the same smaller percentage, depending on how big your pic is. Try 50% first and see what that does. Once you're happy with the size, just save it.

If I have a gazillion pictures that need to be resized I use this program: VSO image resizer.
You can use it to resize them all at the same time and save the smaller ones as a new copy while keeping your big ones safe.
Just watch out, it wants to install search bars and other useless things as well for you. I just clicked cancel for that bit and only got the image resizer.
