Magnets?
I've made a few magnets over the years, but I've never really had any luck with the magnets I've used... I've tried strip magnets, but they're way too weak, I was just wondering if anyone had used any good magnets, and where I could get some?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Magnets?
Neodymium magnets are super strong and you can get them from ebay, amazon and i'm guessing a lot of the larger craft stores

Re: Magnets?
How big/heavy are the projects you are magnetifying? I have been using just plain strip magnets from craft shop for cross stitches (~25x30 count) with cardboard to stiffen them, they seem to hold ok. I use craft glue as well as the backing sticky.

Can't beat a bit of neodymium. My brother has loads of the things, uses them for all kinds of stuff. Some of them are so strong they've pinched fingers lol. (go rare earth!)Lord Libidan wrote:Neodymium did the trick perfectly.
Anyways, might try them for craft purposes myself after reading this thread
