Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi my brother is really into Final Fantasy and he would like a pattern of this person (so I can stitch it).

Please could someone make me a pattern. I know its quite complicated but its the one he likes.



I would like it to fit a frame no more than A4 in size if possible 8 by 11 inches (or there abouts). I'd like to keep the integrity of the colors but if it looks good with less colors then thats A ok for me.

If it needs to be bigger then thats cool. I don't want to squeeze it into a smaller frame if it looks squashed.

any limit to # of colors?

I can work on it before the weekend, but would like to know how many colors to limit it to first.

theres no limit really but I don't want to go over board. Definitely less than 50 (in fact as little as possible without the picture looking silly). I can do half stitches but to be honest would rather whole stitch if it looks ok. I'm not going for a masterpiece, it is only my brother! he won't know! Lol, shhhhh!

In fact that would be a good tutorial to do. How to plan and create xstitch patterns! I could definitely dig that.

This pattern is defeating me.

I love a challenge, though, so I'll probably go back to it this weekend. johloh, I'd love to see what you accomplish with it! The main problem I'm having is with the blue thing above the hair and the gradient on the trenchcoat.

ok, i don't know how many colors are too little or too much but if its 20 or so i'll be happy. and you can get rid of the blue thing above his head if its too much. Thank you for taking the time to do this for me.

30 colors. skin tone way off, lots of junk around borders...

198x137 stitches - w/ 18 count cloth thats just under 8X11 inches.....
