Ok, you have one week in which to submit ideas for the next challenge. If, due to Christmas pressures, you would rather have a another Stitch-a-long or maybe even a Craft Swap, then just suggest it. Depending on what is suggested and what people agree on, there may be a poll to vote on the new topic next month.

why not repeat last year's challenge: Oct to Dec holiday, such as Halloween, Day of Dead, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more.

I don't know if it should be done for these "holiday months", but I've thought that a cool challenge would be to do projects of patterns, so your stitched work would actually be the chart for a project, turning even the smallest project into a decently sized one. This could work maybe next spring or something, but it's just my thought.

but we did that last year, whynot something new like...
1. bitter Luigi (your own version)
2. mash-up (combind 2 or more games)
3. movie quotes/song titles (simmilar to my Dr.Love pattern or my Beatles angry sun project)

I really like the movie quote/song title suggestion.

Maybe taking character sprites and putting custom santa hats or outfits on them?

but then all of the projects would look the same (or at least extreamly simmilar)

What about something kind of like mash-up, but instead of just taking characters and putting them together try putting a character in a different world/environment. Ex: Mario in Sonic's world or a Moogle in Resident Evil, etc...I know this may be time consuming, but it could be fun!

I am conflicted over these great ideas.
I would LOVE to do world mash ups.
I also would want to do a winter/Christmas/holiday theme to be seasonal.
